Gleap alternatives
Looking for a Gleap alternative? Compare Bopmigo, Marker.io, BugHerd, Usersnap and more on price, iPhone app support and report quality.
Gleap is a customer support platform with live chat, an AI support agent, a help center and in-app bug reporting. It’s a good tool, but it isn’t right for every team. Here’s why people look elsewhere, and what to consider.
Why teams look for a Gleap alternative
- You only need bug reports and feedback, not a full support desk.
- The starter plan has one seat.
- AI usage is billed on top of the plan.
1. Bopmigo
Bopmigo lets the people using your website or iPhone app report a problem in a few seconds. When something important is missing, it asks them one short follow-up, so you understand the report the first time. Each report is summarized, similar reports are grouped, and you can reply right where they reported.
- Price: Pro is $19/month ($15 billed yearly) for 3 people. Team is $49/month with unlimited teammates.
- Trial: 7 days, no card
- iPhone apps: Yes, on every plan (iOS 16+)
- Best for: product teams and app developers who want clear reports from real users and testers.
2. Marker.io
Marker.io is a website feedback and bug reporting tool built around sending reports into issue trackers like Jira and Linear.
- Price: $59/month for 3 seats ($39 billed yearly). Team is $199/month for 15 seats.
- iPhone apps: Websites only on the pricing page
- Best for: Teams who send every report to Jira or Linear.
3. BugHerd
BugHerd lets clients and teams pin comments to elements on a live website, then manage them on a task board.
- Price: $50/month for 5 members ($42 billed yearly). Premium is $150/month for 25 members.
- iPhone apps: No native app support listed
- Best for: Agencies collecting client comments on websites.
4. Usersnap
Usersnap is a customer feedback platform with bug reporting, surveys and feature request collection.
- Price: €49/month for 2 seats. Mobile app support starts on Premium at €459/month.
- iPhone apps: Premium plan (€459/month) and up
- Best for: Surveys and feature voting alongside bug reports.
5. Userback
Userback collects visual feedback, bug reports and feature requests, with session replay and a public roadmap.
- Price: Free for 2 seats. Team is $49/month for 5 seats ($39 billed yearly). The mobile SDK starts on Business Plus at $199/month.
- iPhone apps: Business Plus plan ($199/month) and up
- Best for: A free plan with session replay and a roadmap.
How to choose
- Who reports? For real users and testers, pick a tool that needs no account or extension. For an internal QA team, an extension is fine.
- Do you have an app? Check which plan includes mobile apps. On some tools it’s the most expensive one.
- How many people need access? Per-seat pricing grows with your team.
- Do reports arrive complete? A report you have to chase costs more than the tool.
